Let me start by saying that I am no fan of Trump or Republicans (I'm an atheist). But, whoever is in charge of President Trump's 2020 campaign should have devised these ridiculous Impeachment Hearings. Just like the ridiculous Russian Collusion Conspiracy that dominated the news everyday for months. Swing voters are shown that Trump is right; Democrats are stupid enough to be enraged by unimportant news. What president has not tried to work with other countries? Everyone who is screaming "Impeach Trump!" is helping him be reelected. When Trump is reelected in 2020, the Left should blame the media that constantly puts down the president for anything and everything; It is provoking a right-wing reaction in white voters who see the left as ultimately just anti-white.
The whole thing is a sham. Trump 2020.
It will be interesting to see how Republicans assert obvious defenses like how Donald Trump's 4th amendment rights were abridged during the Obama administration and the tu Quoque doctrine that after World War 2 allowed Allied airmen and submariners to avoid prosecution for acts also done by Axis airmen and submariners.
