Do I think there should be voting laws, yes. But, when requiring identification, more things than govt issued ID should suffice. For example, an electric bill, a birth certificate, basically any identification acceptable to obtain a Drivers license/ID card should be acceptable for voting purposes. You can have laws without intentionally disenfranchising people.
