Meat processing company JBS expects their plants working again after ransomware attack | ABC News

The world’s largest meat processing company expects to be back online today after production around the world was disrupted by a cyberattack just weeks after a similar incident shut down a U.S. oil pipeline.

Plus, officials say an off-duty Los Angeles County firefighter fatally shot a fellow firefighter and wounded another at their small community fire station Tuesday before going to his nearby home, setting it on fire.

  1. I don’t think that there are any hackers. I think that this is their way to raise prices and gain control over us. They won’t invest in anything.

  2. Stop blaming Russians when it is pimply US college kids who are vegetarians.
Do you ever get up in the morning and wash yourself in oil? then go boil some eggs in oil? then drink a cup of oil?

  3. I was thinking it's a good thing I don't eat meat, but then I wondered what price gouging in the meat industry might do to the demand for other foods? I suppose it's possible a hit to the meat industry could raise all food prices.

  4. Oct. 2016… Obama: "I told Putin to cut it out on hacking."
Jun 2021… Biden: "I’m gunna tell Putin to cut it out on hacking."

  5. These cyber-attacks all done by our own government operations in order to cause shortages and hide inflation. And, for an excuse to outlaw and regulate cryptocurrencies.
