  16. I live in Johannesburg South Africa. I have never seen a Country like this that helps its Citizens like America. We just dont have food banks here. It would be a frenzy here.

  19. Viewed from outside USA, 2 things strike me. 1) Never seen food bank recipients come in cars !! But I've been told that USA has less public transport than many other countries and people need their cars to get to work, so it doesn't mean the people are necessarily well off.
    2) Seems sad to me that so many fortunate people resent some of their tax going to help people in need, and would prefer they wait on the randomness of charity. In other countries it is regarded as responsibility of state to ensure nobody goes hungry, and responsibility of taxpayers to pay their taxes as these go to ensure all citizens safety and wellbeing . This includes healthcare, welfare ( enough to ensure kids are fed) and seems to be viewed as "a bad thing" by many in USA. Every working adult in UK pays National Insurance contribution, which pays towards these benefits and helps sustain healthcare for all. If that's socialism then its a good thing. I have heard of US citizens who have died because they couldn't afford vital drugs.

  28. I don't own a car i tryed doing a walk through at a food bank in Tucson Az they told me no car no food I'm homeless Tucson Az wouldn't give me food stamps I'm 60 years old living on fixed income with my disability this is how people are treated in this country

  37. This is going on across the world people relying on food banks to feed their family.

    The only hope the America People have right now. People globally are going through and what is truly begin done about it , many have lost their jobs, place to give a roof over their heads and much more. What is the world coming too! Americans when out and voted and still got the short end of the stick. Coronavirus was dumped on everyone and the people should not suffer cause of it . It's the people who risk their lives to keep the economic striving and people need help now not later.

  42. I am one of the people who has lost everything behind this virus. I lost my home, my car, my life with no help. We only get food here once a month and they only give us enough to last for maybe two weeks. I have begged for help but got told by people to kill myself and it will solve my hunger. I even went out to hold a sign but got called names and spit on. I lost my job because the company I was working for shut down. I have been in janitorial for 20 plus years and the jobs I have applied for have all called my under qualified. I am 49 years old so the jobs open to me are very little. I have gotten sick from being depressed. I am going to ask on here but I don't expect anything but hate filled comments but I have to keep trying.
