4. It's scary to be a home health nurse too. We have very little protective equipment. That would be gloves and few gowns. No mask or face shields. Frequently in homes that are unsanitary, multiple family members or more in and out and people that just aren't taking this serious. Now people just blaming coughs on allergies.     It would be better to have donors hand the boxes of masks over to hospitals' staffs physically. Hospitals should write down their names and phone numbers.

    No one knows if there are bad people who have contaminated the masks deliberately before they donate to the hospitals.

44. I have yet to see any pics of over crowded hospitals

45. I am a registered nurse working in an intensive care unit. Us healthcare workers get 1 N95 mask and we have to keep re-wearing it for this whole pandemic (at this time). We know it's not right because it should be worn ONCE per patient contact not reused for many patients over and over (the droplets can be on the mask). I believe the hospitals are saving the masks for when it gets REALLY BAD. We are all afraid. I alternate between being positive and wanting to curl into a ball and cry and stay home. I'm 28 and have no kids and do not live with my parents so I feel I owe it to my country to help the fight and take care of patients, but I've never been so scared in my whole life. I am at peace if it is my time to go, although I have never been so afraid during my life. Those who have the luxury of staying at home: please pray for the healthcare workers. It's an indescribable, terrifying experience for us.
