  1. My dad got the chance to play for him during the East vs West event in 1974. He played defense for Virginia along with a friend of his Doug Humphry. They lost the game which made Couch Boone so mad he went into the locker room with his team and threw his shades across the room. My dad was very fortunate to play for him Herman Boone will never be forgotten. God Bless
