Honestly, the 9E or 9 Lite or whatever, sounds pretty cool. The SD 870 being based on the 865 will definitely be powerful enough for pretty much anything. I might get the 9 Pro if it comes with a flat display (although that's pretty unlikely).
Perfect OnePlus device for me, flagship processor, minimum 256gb, good speakers, a good camera, popup front camera, cool colors and a slightly smaller form factor. Phones are too big these days

i bought a iphone back in september but definetly thinking about buying the oneplus 9 pro
"Moonshot" yet as it seem 9 Pro will still use this old 8MP telephoto sensor which was used in 7 Pro. Not that great, when main marketing point is Camera and Hasselblad.
Doubtful purchase.
I had a OnePlus One, OnePlus 3T then a OnePlus 7 Pro. I recently bought a Samsung S21 Ultra to replace my 7 Pro. Maybe one day I'll return.

I had a OP1, 5t, 6, then tried the 7t. Really did not like it. Instead got the Realme X2 pro. Still have it. Great price. Good phone. I do miss oxygen OS though.

Imx 789 will be the primary sensor for complete 9 series as said by pete.
almost 3 years ago i bought oneplus 6. over the hears they have changed so much. not excited about their new phones anymore. their camera is just bad. they don't send updates to their older phones. customer retention is very important. I'm thinking of switching to samsung.
Go ask NASA just how good Hasselblad cameras are? But still photography & smartphone cameras are two different animals. I hope this marriage with One Plus doesn't wind up being a divorce? Will be watching? Actually I hope they both succeed 🙏😌!

One Plus + Hasselblad is just an another hype from One Plus to justify their price hike for 9 series. Real deal is Huawei + Leica and just dying to see what Huawei P50 series comes out with in camera tech department.
