  3. I'm wondering if I can use this controller with emulators: NESoid, SNESoid, John lite NES, etc because it's through a wireless and not bluetooth connection?

  5. Why the ** is there not software for programmable buttons for PC! It's not even ***** wireless!! FFS Added a sick * touch pad but they lay out the buttons for you and it doesn't know wtf bluetooth is? ** **

  6. the volume , mic and the touch bottons don't work anymore on mine! and the light on the volume botton is switched off! I have discounted the pad n reconnected but still nothing any idea?

  11. $60 isn't that expensive when you compare it to the price of PS3/PS4 and Xbox 360/Xbox One controllers. Even brand name PC wireless controllers like the Logitech F710 are around that price point.

  18. When you use the WiFi model, do you need WiFi to connect the controller to the Shield? If this sounds like a stupid question, im a tech savvy guy so I'm  sorry

  20. Nvidia shud make a pc optimized version of it. Basically just add Bluetooth or a wireless dongle and replace the Android buttons with let's say a Windows button, a start button for games, and some other button (not sure what else would be useful for a pc controller), sell it for the same price point and make shit tons of money

  23. Don't ever buy the Nyko Playpad Pro, or their products. The controllers they send are DOA (dead on arrival). Sadly, it has a great design. Too bad THE WHOLE FUCKING CONTROLLER IS DEFECTIVE.

    Just a warning. I read reviews of it on amazon, and 2/3's of them say DOA. I thought they might've did something wrong with the controller. Please. Listen to the reviews and don't take the risk of you are going to buy they nyko.

  24. Anyone sees the downfall of this Nvidia tablet and the super cool controller? It's a one to one experience, what it means is you're buying an overpriced tech which soon will be obsolete. The controller works through wifi, so where do you find best reliable wifi? It's your house. Why would you play games on a tablet at your house when everyone has a big tv? At first I thought this would make a cool traveling companion when you crave a gaming fix. But the lack of the bluetooth on the controller, you can't do much. Don't count on the wifi at your hotel, or guesthouse or public places. In conclusion, the Nividia tablet and its controller are basically useless to me.

I feel kinda burned after buying a Tegra Note 7 and seeing that things like Console Mode and support for this controller are being left out, so I'm not too keen on buying another Nvidia product after being the victim of what's clearly planned obsolescence… buuut, if they turn the Shield platform into a true console, I'm all in. If they could sell the guys of this tablet inside a console along with one of these controllers for $200-250, I'd buy it in an instant, because ultimately that's what I really want, a solid Android console (and not a toy like the Ouya).

  40. i fail to see the point of a dedicated controller for a device that u are supposed to hold in hand to play
