C.O. here. This is funny shit. True af too. Some of the Officers are really shitty. Often come onto a unit to relieve a sleeper, and half the shit on the desk is missing, lights in cells are covered, doors hanging open blocking the hallway, offenders in each other's cells, trash cans overflowing, zero notes in the logbook, etc.

I live in San Antonio aka Bexar County. We have allot of those that got beat up and picked on. BCDC is I think one of the worst County jails in the U.S. I've never been to prison but I hear its way better than Bexar County

I met a literal madman CO. Guy was a Sergeant at MidState CF in NY named McGuire. He loved throwing inmates on the wall and giving liberal ribshots and kicking your feet back. If he ended up having to do a double he would conduct personal searches on every unit on his rounds. Even the other COs called him crazy and were worried he would potentially seriously hurt or even kill an inmate. Funny enough, last I heard the fucker got promoted to Lieutenant at another nearby prison..
heres a fact that you might find interesting. the average life expectancy of a prison guard after retirement is less than a year. they worry themselves into early graves through fear theyre gonna get a beat-down any time theyre out in public. and bear in mind theyd be pensioners at this age, so they couldnt really defend themselves if it did happen. ive never done time but i bet some of them deserve to go out like that. some probably dont
