  1. You could have easily done some research to figure out that fiberglass won’t bond to most plastics. Also, chop strand adds thickness but not a lot of rigidity, again something you could have easily researched. Should have used 1708 with biaxial fibers for strength.

  2. @BisforBuild I was going to suggest you swap those brake calipers to something more meaty, but I bet that's the last thing to worry about, given the crunch!

  3. The Datsun build convinced me that @BisforBuild is able to do whatever he puts his mind to do! PERIOD.
    The SEMA pressure creates miracles!

  4. Concept for next SEMA build:
Start early (like right after this SEMA), and work on it in the background. Engage guest builders/experts on various aspects ahead of time.

Do the normal build stuff throughout the year to pay the bills, while keeping steady progress on the SEMA car.

Keep it a secret and release it all a few weeks before next SEMA as if it was a big dramatic crunch session.

You have such great ideas, I think a lot of people, including myself would love to see your SEMA builds given the time the really great ideas deserve.

  5. You should go and watch Street Bandito. You got a lot to learn about composite technology, and Tim is hardcore at making carbonfiber parts. For a boatbuilder like me, itΒ΄s a bit painful to watch. But hang in there, that car is gonna be a stunner! πŸ˜€

  6. E is for Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik; the main antagonist of Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Eggman was created and designed by Naoto Ohshima as part of many design choices for Sega's new mascot. After the creation of Sonic the Hedgehog, Ohshima chose to use his previous egg-shaped character to create the antagonist of the 1991 video game Sonic the Hedgehog, making him the arch-nemesis of the series' eponymous main character.

  7. Looks good really coming along nice. I like the idea of taking a newer chassis and putting an old style body on it. I would have like to have seen the exhaust come through the rear valance

  8. Next time, use epoxy and better glasfiber, then you don't have to sand so much, and it will become stronger. And it will be hard and ready to work on in a few hours. For example, West system epoxy….

  9. can we have a no rush build next year? I am all for the jankyness but I want to believe that b is for build will have a clean build one day.

  10. please for the love that is the car gods next year for Sema' take more time to do a build maybe so yall aren't, running around like chickens with there heads cut off lol

  11. It’s so crazy to think how meaningful this car build has been to finally be able to finish the car. Shes making great content. I can’t wait to see this ripping in eventually smooth, comfortable complete form amazing
