I bought a Super Cheap Ferrari California from an Exotic Car Dealer. They told me it was pretty rough, but I had no idea I was getting myself into a problem that could cost more than I paid for the entire car…

  1. The key to a good Ferrari Ownership Experience is to never buy one, but the key to getting a reasonable replacement key for your car can be found at Car Keys Express! Visit http://CKE.co/Samcrac and get 10% off! Thank you Car Keys Express for sponsoring this video!

  2. pretty junky for a 100k+ when new, but then again, the service life of the vehicle for the manufacturer is the first owner or the first 100k miles

  3. Thanks Sam – Always love your videos. Will stick with my 2005 – $2000 toyota avalon (what I paid) , currently no issues, touch wood. 🙂

  4. I’m surprised that anyone would want to own a Ferrari after watching this video. They are junk. My Honda Accord is 6 years old and looks new without anything falling off or broken. Shame on you Ferrari!

  5. Hey man. I really like this form of video, no fluff, honest review, nice summary and conclusion. Keep up the good work. Thanks!

  6. In fact, that is how the Camaros are designed to be. A recall occurred. Since the flip key appears to be quite simple to turn off on its own, the key is not a component of the fob.

  7. We all know Ferraris are one of the worst quality built cars with shockingly bad customer service and care, would love to see their market disintegrate like their cars.

  8. IMO your ‘friendly’ selling Ferrari dealer was LESS than honest, “cosmetic and suspension” my arse, as we say here in UK, ‘they had you over’, knowing exactly what the situation was with the gearbox!! As for Ferrari, styling, in the main, is superb, however, build quality, reliability and customer service is rubbish, a very much over rated brand. But are they worried NO, because perceived image is everything and Ferrari know this and take full advantage, knowing, in the main, they will be selling in to a very rich market pool where clients really don’t care because they can just by another Ferrari if it becomes troublesome, so why should Ferrari issue service recalls when they don’t have too, what a conceited attitude, every manufacturer should stand firmly behind their product even out of warranty where high incidence failure is reported, as Mercedes did with this gearbox, well done Merc! Good to hear you broke even and importantly with the mechanical disclosure, shame your Ferrari dealer couldn’t have been as honest, it would have saved you a great deal of trouble and inconvenience! Great videos keep em coming. Regards Rod
