The player was crying more than the baby 👶..the irony
stop playing the stupid game then it will stop….
That’s it damnit. Need to ban those bats.
Pay attention as a father and have coordination. Block her. Bring a glove. And pay attention.
He good guy
Why take a 2 year old so close to those flying balls? Yes the parks need to improve safety but until then, would you risk an injury ? At least put a helmet on the kids … sad
I'm so sorry to the Cubs and to that little girl who got hit by that baseball
It was in accident
Here’s an idea, stop letting people sit in the potential line of fire.
Those parents shouldn't have sat behind the netting. That is a freak accident that those parents could have avoided by not doing that.
Me watching after White Sox make play on netting
again ball parks been around for over a 100 years and now lawsuits for stupid parenting getting hit by a ball, bring a MIT and watch the game you just might get a souvenir, and if you're smart enough get it signed by the player….. extra netting… what a bunch of crock
blame it on the parents for the seating arrangements. i have taken my son to many baseball games. as a parent if you seat on the sidelines where line drive foul balls can happen, as a parent you better be ready at all times, for the little one's, go to the bleachers or behind the netting. I hate it when America keeps lowing the standards for stupid people. I got 3rd base line tickets for an A's game for free and I gave them away for free and bought tickets that would be safer for my 5 yr old son for both of us to enjoy the game. My son now is 27 and many foul ball in our direction he was old enough to catch them….. shame on you Dad, you should have been watching the game and protecting your offspring.
ABC always blocks people's face, I hate that
Well, that’s baseball
I will never go watch a baseball game live. First, it's dangerous to be hit accidentally. Second, baseball is boring.
I mean it’s very sad but it’s not his fault
0:49 well shoot i hope the girl wasnt crying while unconscious… But poor girl😞
It wasnt the baseball players fault though, its just a part of the game… Foul balls are just the game
They just put more nets after the incident at the yankee game. Now they need more
Life isnt safe and you cant stop all accidents. It was just an accident.
I swear
I’ve never gone to a pro baseball game and never will too many injuries in the stands
An unfortunate update: the girl has a permanent brain injury and is susceptible to seizures.
Shiit happen
What kind of parents take a two year old to a ball game, knowing the possibility of something like this occuring. Thats child endangerment.
"The 2-year-old girl sustained permanent brain damage, leaving her at risk for a lifetime of seizures after she was struck in the head by a foul ball during a Houston Astros games in May, her family lawyer revealed Tuesday."
"The toddler, who has not been identified, was struck in the back of the head by a line drive off the bat of Chicago Cubs outfielder Albert Almora Jr. on May 29. She sustained a skull fracture and brain injury as a result of the hit."
everyone should be handed complimentary hockey goalkeeper gear upon entering the stadium
Isnt this why they had ball boys/girls?
Who takes a 3 year old girl to the ball park?
Parents fault
they need to put some high nets cause that's dangerous for a flying ball to hit someone
He was aiming for her the whole time
Why did they blurr the little girls face? Others didn't?
The idiotic parents should be charged with child endangerment.
What moron takes an unaware toddler into a KNOWN dangerous environment?
Now some dirtbag lawyer will have his hand out for these child abusers.
Sorry if the truth hurts.
Don't hand me that "family outing" nonsense either. You don't bring small kids somewhere where there is even the slightest chance this could happen.
People make me sick sometimes.
