The issue with this cop was he was scared. There should of been a curiosity knock since it was a welfare check. Instead he placed on paid administrative leave. Taxpayers should not be liable for stupidity- cops need to pay the victims from their retirement, etc. or have their paychecks garnished. The only issue I have with media is they report mostly on black vs cops. It’s sensationalized and as they continue to do this they will perpetuate nation wide racism. Regardless if someone is black, brown, white, etc media should report it the same way. Other cop related murders of innocent citizens don’t get reported by media. I get it there are some awful cops but some are decent as well. Media portrays these people as tyrants; granted it’s the few that give cops bad names. This is exactly what happened to my brother Michael Tray back in 2013. Welfare check, neighbor thought he was robbing the place, but he was actually bringing stuff from his car into his girlfriend's place. She was on the phone with him when they emptied their clips. They got away with it, of course.

Damn shame , you have idiots like this in the police department don't know what a Welfare check is , they proceeded to that house Advil it was a burglary in progress and the end result was disastrous , especially when you have a untrained police officer who proceed to the backyard of a house when a welfare check is done thru the front door, he never identified himself nor did he ring the doorbell tosser if someone was home , why would you go in a backyard and I'm guessing she heard him , came to the window then he shot her as clear as that in front of a child, he's got to go to jail for this ,
