Isn’t the reason that there is a severe allergy season a man made one after a wealth of trees, in the millions, were killed off due to lack of bio diversity combined with an infestation that originated from oversees. We in turn decided to plant an abundance of a particular set of male trees with the thought that the wind would simply deal with the pollen. Only to realize that the male trees ended up producing more pollen hence our crazy allergy seasons (super simplified yet on point). Not to mention that the longer grow season just exacerbates the issue.
