  32. I wondered at the time of the transcripts release why Trump made such great efforts to convey the idea that it was a verbatim account of the Ukraine phone call. As per usual Trump was lying. If certain phrases and words were redacted/edited because they were inculpatory evidence of ‘quid pro quo’ then the phone ‘transcript’ is a lie intended to mislead the inquiry. We need the original recording and my guess is the Ukrainian President will have one of his own even if Trump refuses to release or cannot find the US original.
