  1. Voting rights might be the singular best solution to fix the crimes system in America. Prisoners could be a vital voting block, by default pushing their issues into political discussions.

  2. Intelligent, well spoken, good looking, well dressed, does good work and care's about others, he's got my vote ! Most elected officials should be behind bars. 👍

  3. For once I am proud of my city, the District of Columbia, and have hope for the future.💯💯💯

  4. One of the things a person risks when deciding to commit a crime, is the loss of their rights to participate in the democratic process. They should think of that too.

  5. I trust an inmate way more than I trust a politician. Once he’s released, he’ll really be surrounded by criminals.

  6. All incarcerated deserve their right to vote. Uncivil America! Only criminal confederate hateful republicans cannot stand it probably because they belong in prison and their white privileged them get off.

  7. Proud to say that my state of Maine, is one of two states that allows inmates to vote!! Let us hope that as the saying goes, "As Maine goes, so goes the Nation." holds true. We have the most Liberal Voting Laws in the country and our Legislature recently rejected the GOP's restrictive and discriminating efforts to limit citizen's Constitutional Right to vote, not only the use of Medical Marijuana is allowed but recreational use has been decriminalized. We are one of the states with the highest vaccination rates against Covid. This all to the efforts of the people of the state for cooperating during the pandemic with our Gov. and state CDC and for electing people who care about the quality of lives of all Mainers to our Legislature! Proud to be a Mainah…aya!
