  4. No one could blame Wil Smith. This man has always been a model of simple decency. Using his wife disease for a joke. That was pour planning. Will Smith knows how his wife struggled with her hair loss. He is correct, love will make you do crazy things. I am sorry this man Will Smith, is a vessel of decency. Smacking Chris Rock, Chris Rocks words was like a sucker punch. I believe Chris Rock owes them both an apology.

  9. Will Smith committed assault – which his a crime! – and then, he tried to play the victim card by crying. Will acted so immature about the joke. There were better ways to go about it without looking like a jerk, and ruining the Oscars for other people.. 😡

    Will could've told Chris to apologize, and handle it like a mature adult, not a high-school teen with no restraint.

    As for Chris Rock: I don't believe that Chris knew about Jada's Alopecia Areata condition. If he knew about her disease, he never would've said such a thing. His G.I. Jane joke was in reference to her hair style, NOT her disease.

You know all these award shows have become a breeding ground for people to make there point on what ever subject they choose whether it is Will Smith, LGBTQRSYZ (threw a few extra letter in there in case I miss a few) or simply gay rights to marry, just to name a few. Now back in the day these awards were cherished for there pageantry beauty, and simply a way for the general public to see there favorite actor in real life and not in a movie the simple thanks you's acknowledgements of accomplishments and just have a good time with your fellow actors that you may not have seen in a while. But now all the awards shows have become a cesspool of fights and actors pointing out what is wrong with life. What has happen to this world when you can not put aside your indifference's for one night to enjoy life. It sickens me that our society has sunk so low that not even for one night we can enjoy ourselves.

  12. BTW – Marc Lamont Hill, Ph.D. appears to be as big of a baby, as Will Smith. He says Chris Rock's G.I. Jane joke was "awful … terrible … the height of crass." SERIOUSLY DUDE??? That joke, saying she looked like GI Jane, because of her short hair and green clothes was the "height of crass?" CLEARLY THIS DUDE WAS PAID BY WILL SMITH AND/OR THE ACADEMY!!! THAT WAS THE MOST BENIGN JOKE I HAVE EVER HEARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that why they LITERALLY let him STROLL BACK TO HIS SEAT, SIT THERE, and then later call him to the stage with a big "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN … WILL SMITH!" ????? So, if the "Academy" condemns your actions, they give you the stage and an award, is that it?

Imagine loving someone who not only doesn't love him but despises and resents him, didn't want to marry him, didn't want to have a wedding ceremony expressed how much she hated it, didn't like the million dollar family house he bought for their family and and humiliated him in her talk show "the red table" revealing how she had an "entanglement" aka AFFAIR with her sons friend justifying that she healed August and she had a "deep healing experience" having zero remorse about it. Will Smith is a pathetic SIMP. They deserve eachother.

  19. Nobody talks about the FACT that the Academy hires people who they know are going to put down , insult and bully the very audience that’s there to be honored, praised & and appreciated. Look, Chris has been warned for YEARS about continually tearing down Jada. He hurts her. Our family has been disturbed for YEARS that the academy has no other comedians from which to chose as our best of the best and only come up with this caliber of behavior. While Will broke in public, with a slap…he also threw his entire life’s work in jeopardy for the love of her. He was acting as a noble husband to protect his wife, not ideally, but truth be told, Chris 1. Wasn’t hurt physically with a slap. Not a punch, just a single slap 👋🏼. 2. He proclaims it “the best television EVER!” And wallows in the attention. 3. He LOVES that everyone I’ve seen so far has take a side & it’s all his. 4. The Academy sees nothing wrong with who they booked for this gig. Side note: my children used to watch as a prime time family fun night. No more. Why? These comedians slip up with language WAY too much and children here everything. The jokes as charged with mockery & bullying (something we don’t approve of here). Chris Rock was NOT supposed to put this joke in his skit that night. He slipped it in, however. Will he learn anything? Doubtful. His humor is BUILT and thrives off making fun of others. Would you want to get all dressed up to be honored and find ridicule waiting for you instead? No. A resounding no. It’s not the place for that kind of humor. Go to a nightclub for that & let the family fun times come back. Please. Geesh. And stop blaming a person who’s tried for years to smile in the face of smut thrown at YOUR spouse, the mother of YOUR children. It does NOT “come with the territory” unless you make it so. Enough is enough. Look 👀 in the mirror 🪞 at the source , Academy. Seriously, it’s time.

  21. Smith's acting went south a long time ago.. and the look on his face shows anger…vile…and pure hatred.. arrogance as he walked away. I stopped watching Will Smith movies since that d rated movie he did with his kid After Earth. But now with this Sick disgusting act of violence I.. and all those I know will not ever watch anything he is apart of. No matter what Chris said.. What Will Smith did was straight up BATTERY. He should of been arrested. Being a star shouldn't give him any special privileges'. He is a man like any ordinary person on the street regardless of the provocation.
