25. Right now, today, the Covid-19 vaccines are the safest, most effective, most thoroughly tested vaccines in history. Over 200 million doses have been administered in the U.S. They are NOT experimental. They are NOT in the guinea pig test stage. They are the best protection against severe illness and death.
    For those who are not eligible to get vaccinated, such as children younger than 12, masks offer the best protection.
    Some people are waiting for the vaccines to receive "Full Approval" from the FDA, but most people don't know what "Full Approval" means. The vaccines currently have Emergency Use Authorization (EUA)." The only reason that they are not yet Fully Approved is because of time. To get EUA, the FDA requires at least two months of safety and efficacy data. To get Full Approval, they require at least six months of data.
    Today, the vaccines are as safe and effective as they will be when they finally do get Full Approval. There are some additional requirements for Full Approval, but they do not have any impact on safety or efficacy. For example, the pharmaceutical company and the FDA have to agree on the wording that is printed on the vaccine vial labels and boxes. They have to agree on guidelines for advertising and marketing. They have to agree on pricing, etc. None of this has anything to do with safety and efficacy.
