All Facebook and all others need is a reply with #1 to opt out of these messages.
They don't because security is not the true intent.
Well someone needs to locate the origin of the robo company, post that location for the world to see. Then see what happens.
Lol
Yeah, that 1991 law hasn't worked very well and it doesn't explain why I got a robocall two days ago at 3:12 a.m. from a number out of Alexandria, VA from (703) 683-7400. Of course it's not a valid number if you call back and they don't leave voicemail. Jerks.
Wow you don't say that a bunch of old people that don't know much about modern technology ruled in favor of big Tech lobbyist. Truly "shocking" that they would allow big tech to do that without punishment. Unsolicited calls and messages are the backbone of our modern day economies and it is totally acceptable on both a business and moral standpoint.
You could do what people did back before the laws on the robocall is send a post card to the face plant and agree to except the call at fee of $3,000.00 per call, tex message, Email. By letting adverting reach my account you have agreed to the contract and agree to my terms.
Noticias misinterpretations needs a look into
I've never used Facebook or the others.
I got one of those too. Just wrote back telling them what I thought of Bezos, Dorsey and the rest of them. Never heard back from them.😎

Awww, maybe you'll get a pay day next time.
The Media is the Enemy.
Are ppl still interested in Facebook? 🙄🙄😒
The nuance is that Facebook was trying to perform a user service, which is informing a supposed user that someone was attempting access to their Facebook account.
It isn’t their fault that a previous user of the phone number, who willingly signed up for Facebook service, abandoned their phone number only to have it be used by a cell provider for the gentleman leading the lawsuit.
That’s way different than Facebook randomly dialing you asking if you need to update your car’s warranty from a randomly generated phone number made by a bot.
Makes sense to me.
How did such frivolous law suit even make to the supreme court. This man is obviously looking for easy money
I SEE GREATNESS IN YOU!
