11. Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas is a champ in my opinion. I have read about his lawmakers’s efforts! I once lived and worked for 10 years in San Antonio. I loved the bicultural events and the Texas history. (But, also his district is quite huge, running from the border near Laredo to up around San Antonio, itself! ) He’s highly educated. A dedicated legislator, who believes in helping children of migrants , which is both a blessing and nowadays, a curse! (But, I am glad for his continued success.. in doing this national service job. ) It’s not easy. (Former President Donald Trump was not going to help migrant families at all. ) I was horrified, that President Biden though, said that we could feed and house, 15,000 migrant children lately. (I hope that the federal government has the better facilities to do this job. ) If, we are going to accept that many people into our country …then, we had better do this better, and do it right!
