6. I said to my husband: in my home town we had no black or brown people growing up….then I realised my brothers best mates were: a refugee from Iran, a half black guy and a half Indian guy.

   Never even noticed from being a kid. Till 2015 came and forced us all into colours and caused more racial hate than never.

17. Just create more labels and division. This is a topic that should be the parents responsibility to talk about with their kids. Kids only see color and labels of they are TAUGHT it. Way to go on starting this division at a young ages.

I think this is going in the wrong direction. 1980's Sesame street was inclusive and through character development you naturally realized that even though most characters were different (ie: monsters) they were all wonderful, even if they looked nothing like you. It was based on their MERITS not their appearance, it also taught tolerance and how to get along with others who may have very different traits than you. I miss those days, to all my 80's and 90's friends from all walks of life we don't know how good we had it. How did we go so wrong?
