A school bus full of children in Ohio was almost struck by a tractor-trailer that was unable to brake in time. ABC News’ Andrea Fujii has more.

The trucker really knew how to drive. That's why he didn't hit the school bust.
They gonna arrest this guy like they did to that other truck driver from Colorado who wasn't white?
The drivers new well in advance that breaks where out .so I truly think he would of took out the left hand side of road before he hit bus .truck didn't move until last second before he was made to react to his problem.i think he was going to put it in a ditch .the right thing to do .I drive same set up as semi .dump trailer and truck .it would of most likely took his life but it would of been what I would done .
Had that man not made the one critical calculation to back his truck into the vehicle behind him to make space, this would have been a totally different, tragic scenario.
Credit to the trucker for being aware. Credit to the pick up truck driver! That was a situation where all were aware and they took action. I'll be shocked if the driver is pressed with charges.
Hopefully the company pays any fees for the pickup driver if he dented the front bumper of the car behind him. Obviously the dude is happy to be alive, but he shouldn’t have to take a financial hit or have his insurance raised for a life saving ‘dent’ lol

This folks shows you a very good reason why self driving trucks shall not be allowed. I HIGHLY doubt a supercomputer would’ve done the same horn warning and maneuver.
Heck, I doubt the other cars/trucks would’ve moved as well with self driving computers.
It's amazing no one tried to scam the incident and then a million comments completely siding with the "victim" instead of weighing both sides of the argument.

What the hell else you want from him exactly. He wasn’t speeding it was raining and he was on a hill. I swear some ppl skipped science class and it shows. Ty god he used his horn to warn everyone. And the correct actions were taken. I’m sure that guy can go fund me for a repair to his truck.

Credit to the tractor trailer driver for warning everyone and being able to maneuver through the vehicles during an extremely scary situation and also huge credit to the pickup truck for thinking fast and reversing to make a big enough gap for the truck

It’s crazy how they want to give the CDL driver charges for brakes going out 😡. he’s doing his job, just listen to his fear he didn’t want to intentionally hurt anyone. If it wasn’t for drivers this country would fall apart
To hear the terror in the tractor trailer drivers voice as he was approaching that bus made me tear up. Great evasive driving avoiding what could have been a tremendous tragedy.
