18. I feel like this octopus was dying. If it’s not common to see them here or at this level etc, they probably are about to die or their habitat was disrupted by warming of water

    Not saying to kill this one but if there was millions or billions of them. It’s a beautiful animal and I don’t want it to go extinct but just curious is all before anyone goes nut.

38. Fun fact: Females may reach 2 m (6.6 ft) in length, whereas the males are 2.4 cm. Blanket octopuses are also immune to the portuguese man of war, which they rip tentacles off of to catch prey.
