  1. The most terrible is you beeing abused. Does not Matter how. But if you are Sexual Abused and nobody beliefs you or denies it ,that actually Destroys the child or thought come in to kill themselves . I know that because that happen to me . If that all happen in the Church how do you Deal with that??????? My heart and my Prayers go out to those Familys. If I could change that I would. I only can say I Love you be strong and Trust in Jesus dont let go. I know that because he deliverd me from that hate. I was able to forgive my Stepfather. I wish recovery for you all. ❤🙏🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

  2. I’m not LDS nor mormon but, sexual abuse has happened in nearly every church and denomination. It’s a sin condition issue, not a denomination issue.

  3. For serious? This pos's parents recommended their son to babysit AFTER he had been convicted of sex offenses in another state..?!!

  4. I am Mormon. This is an exception, not a pattern of behavior for all wards. Its ok to not believe or to be angry, but please don't attack members of the church themselves. This is horrific, but it's nowhere near a normal pattern of behavior. There are bad people in every community, even bishops sometimes. Please just keep that in mind

  5. If you care more about your churches reputation over the lives of children or those who you claim you're helping "reach for god", there is something wrong with you.. Why on earth would you stay in a church like that when you KNOW that's not what the Bible YOU READ says to do?? This shows it's not about God, it's about the HUMAN, their needs and money..

  6. The LDS church is the devil in disguise. After the abuse my children and I experienced, I started looking deeply in the Bible doctrine and the doctrine of Joseph Smith, the founder of the church. I can say with certainty, the LDS church are not followers of Jesus Christ. They may state so, but their doctrine and actions say otherwise. They have their own plan of salvation. They believe they are to become gods themselves, and their behaviors display it. They are a cult, using the Holy Bible as a gateway to their own house of the devil. Remember, even the devil appears as an angel of light

  7. It’s like the parents procured victims for their son they definitely knew and supported him they need to go to jail!!

  8. I never realized I had PTSD from my childhood trama of being molested by another family member. When I started having ptsd episodes at a lds girls camp, one leader did bless me and listen to me, but he told the other mother that were there about it. Those mothers cornered me and told me to keep my mouth shut because I could have been scaring the other girls and if I didn't stop my behaviour, they would kick me out of the camp. When I told them that I wanted to go home, they called my mother. Luckily when I finally got to talk to my mom when she picked me up, apparently they lied to her and my mom confronted them before we left the camp. The mothers never said a word to me after that.

  9. I'm an ex-mormon and that's unacceptable the leadership is screwed up they need to do better on protecting people children and the disabled I'm the next Mormon myselfI left the church for those exact same reasons people discriminating me because I'm disabled harassing me complaining at my tourette's and my ticks during the meetings it's so horrible never join this church

  10. It is not the church's fault. It is the individual Bishop who doesn't look more into the complaints, fault.
The problem is, kids say things they may have heard elsewhere or for attention, anger, etc. People can make kids say things too.
This case is DIFFERENT because it was 3 separate families in the same ward and no one did anything, ESPECIALLY the Bishop. He is at fault.

  11. Why would they sue the church?? The church doesn’t teach this. It’s michaels decision not the church’s

  12. The gospel of Jesus Christ is true but that doesn’t make people perfect. We have to have a heads up no matter where you are! Just because someone believes in jesus sure doesn’t mean they know how to live like him or be converted. I’m sad for these families

  13. Mormonism is a SEXUAL cult. Just look at its view of Heaven and who ( i.e. Joseph Smith) started the "LDS" church.

  14. Absolutely sick to my gut of the amount of abuse on our children, it’s ducking everywhere, literally. I have been fortunate in my childhood to have not endured such horrors, been very close, but not understood the dangers. It has happened to immediate family, it broke my soul and opened my eyes to such horrors. Keep your children as safe though they were angels in heaven.

  15. Something similar happened at my ward. I'm still faithful to the church. It was the parents who never told anybody. One day he was in the newspaper and on the sex offender registry. No one knew, not even the bishop, but the mother had kept it secret for years and allowed him to babysit. The mother is just as wicked as her son for putting children in danger knowingly.

  16. Uhm that’s like abuse 101…why would you leave your children with a hormonal young man. 🙄 . Who the hell cares if his parents were “worthy” use your common sense people

  17. Blaming an organization for the actions of an individual who is associated with that individual is a bit ridiculous. Virtually every abuse is associated with people or organizations, that do not condone or authorize his actions and unless those organizations cover it up or facilitate it, the organization is not responsible.

  18. First of all, what Michael did was evil and horrific but NO ONE should blame a church for one man's actions. The mothers and their supporters should NOT have brought their claims and accusations in front of the congregation. There are innocent children in there listening to this. The Bishop was right "… is not the place for it".

  19. What is also sad is the fathers of these boys basically went back to the church – but the moms who are protecting their kids did not – the fathers protect the church more then their kids

  20. I belong to the church. We don't teach child molestation in church.
We do report crimes and child molestation.
I'm sure there are child molesters or murderers in our church or other churches the church doesn't teach that and they are asked to report crimes.
People do lie. What can I say? Lying is bad too and 2 people can be in on a crime in my church and other churches but why SMEAR my church when we don't teach those things, we do report those crimes and if people are lied to then why not blame the liar?
This is a smear on my church. I bet that what ever the reporter's church is that at one time there may have been someone who did a crime or lied and so can we smear their church as well?

  21. For the LDS Church to siphon calls to its Family Services via the 'Helpline' over allegations of sexual abuse within the LDS comunity to its designated law firm based in Salt Lake City, UT truly constitutes an obvious 'conflict of interest.' Unfortunately, the LDS bishops have not undergone any formal extensive theological training. Heck, the bishops of the LDS Church DO NOT even look like clergymen.

  22. I was raided a Mormon and they claim they are Christian but they don't even believe the Bible and never teach it. It's a home grown religion based on brainwashing. And lying is no problem for them so I'm not surprised they lied in this program.
