A FEW WEEKS AGO I MESSAGED YOU ON FB AS "NORM LOR" AND GAVE THE IDEA TO USE A DIESEL ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE (AS ONE MAYOR DID HERE IN QUEBEC DURING OUR ICE STORM) SHE LITERALLY HAD POWER FROM THIS ENGINE DRIVEN RIGHT OFF ITS TRACKS AND HAD HER TOWN HALL POWERED UP TO HAVE URGENT COMMUNICATION. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE HAD SOMEONE IN THIS CITY BEEN TOLD OF THIS IDEA.

  39. Afghanistan is a great example of how helping someone out can quickly become entitlement. We gave them decades of help, trillions to help build their country, and that's just us. They ran at the sight of the Taliban and didn't even fight for themselves. We owe you nothing. You are not entitled to what our own are entitled to. Take care of our own before taking care of others.   43. WHEN??? The decision to begin burying neighborhood lines is part of a hardening plan to strengthen infrastructure to better withstand hurricane-force winds. Underground power lines have been shown to perform about 50% better in day-to-day operations and 80% better during a major storm.

  45. everyone should invest into solar generator cause gas runs out and no power to pump gas stations if they survive… Sun will replenish these solar generators!
