  1. 🤔 so is Google home also always listening and recording? 😱 I have 3 them at home. One for each part of the house.

But it also seems like a good way to catch your spouse cheating on you if it does listen 🤔

  2. I NEVER "wake" my shit with "Alexa" it's just on… I've never said Alexa in my life… And yes they do record… Even before Alexa… Xbox Kinect records audio and video, they call it Child endangerment something…. And also FUCK amazon, this dude is on trail for murder it's kind of important for them to get these, especially if the guy is like yes use the recording lol…

I WANT my audio and video listening, recording, I don't fucking care, what privacy? no one fucking has "Privacy" whats "Privacy" when some mother fucker comes into your house and murders you. WOuldn't you want the cops walking in and like oh shit a dead guy "Hey alexa who kilt this nigga" oh I have audio and video would you like it sent to evidence server lol…

  3. The police came to my door one time, and said "Police open up" I said no, and then said when the say open I have to do so. I refused and they got back up. Next thing I knew the news media was there, saying there was a stand off. I finally came out and was put in cuffs, and I was asked why I refused to open the door. I said because it is my house! They said no excuse. He wen't on to say I owed child support, and read me off a name, which turned out to be a neighbor's house 2 doors down. So they cut me lose, but gave me a warning "next the police say open the door, you open the door". What the hell is this a Police State?

  4. I think it’s more likely that they keep the data parsed from the recordings rather than the actual recordings themselves. They only want the data so keeping the actual recordings would just be a waste of storage.

  5. Brainwashing!! They want you to believe that you need Alexa listening in your home to keep you safe. Brainwash!!

  6. Let’s not forget, our iPhones are the same exact thing. Siri is just the Apple version of Alexa. It’s listening at all times. That’s why when you speak on something you’ll see an add about it within a day or two.

  7. “Is not recording unless it hears a wake word like Alexa.” So then how would it be recording during her stabbing ? Did she yell out Alexa ? I doubt it. Anyone who has this bs, or security cams in their homes should know they are being recorded at all times and have no privacy.

  8. I developed a chest congestion for awhile so I started coughing a lot for days, then all of a sudden ALL the advertisements on my phone were about Asthma, COPD, lung cancer, smoking cessations, quit smoking ads, and cancer hospitals…

Theyre always listening. Ive never even owned Alexa, im talking about my phone!

  9. Right! Bc they all shout for Alexa when being murdered! Maybe if they would make a 911 feature people would believe it was only recording bc of an emergency!

  10. But i asked Alexa if she is spying on me for the government. She responded with something to the effect that Amazon takes your privacy seriously. Alexa wouldn't lie would she?

  11. I have Google Home in my bedroom. As soon as I know for certain that it's listening when it's not activated, it's going in the trash. Don't even care about the $150 I dropped on it. (For those of you wondering, I only use it as my alarm clock. I had issues with manual alarms, so a nighttime routine of setting an alarm using my voice is very convenient, almost error-free and gets me to work on time.)

  12. Alexa listens, specific key words you use then feed you adverts accordingly. Not only that. Probably covert mass surveillance.
