  1. I understand guns being legal and a right for American citizens but why does the average citizen need anything other than a handgun or hunting rifle? Why are guns like ar 15's legal to buy?

  2. Sad to say I know of 2 people who where in the store. During the time of this shooting. Both of them have their concealed carry. Both of them hid like cowards.

  10. This is a grocery store less than a mile from my house and where I shop weekly. The man who was killed was also a veteran. He was a hero. The police were also very brave.

    44 Americans are shot by other Americans each day and America is the ONLY country on Earth that has school shootings.

    Uvalde was the 7th school shooting this year. There are currently 27 US school shootings for 2022. Why no news?

    9,000 Ukrainian troops have died in the last 6 months. 7,920 Americans have been shot by other Americans in the past 6 months.

  13. I go to this Safeway all the time I live in bend Oregon, and I can’t believe this happened I’m still in shock. My dad was going to go to Safeway that night but decided not to. Thank God

  14. Stop banning law abiding citizens from easily possessing firearms for the defense of citizens you morons. There are 330 million citizens in the United States and OVER 400 million firearms in the hands of citizens alone. You neuter the ability of law abiding citizens from possessing firearms, but criminals don't comply. Therefore the ratio of firearms possession by law abiding citizens shifts in favoring those firearms to criminal possession. This isn't rocket surgery you idiots. It's simpme math based policy.

  17. This is the problem with the whole "The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun." When you allow wackos like this 20yo to have a military style weapon with an extended magazine, too many people die waiting for the good guy with the gun to show up. 10 killed in a grocery store in Buffalo. 21 killed in Uvalde. There have been 450 MASS SHOOTINGS SO FAR THIS YEAR.

  24. Don’t you wish there had been a legally armed citizen in the store to actually stop the attack? Someone dies a hero but the young man at the mall shooting a month or so ago, who saved life’s you refused to call a hero. ABC, you disgust me in every sense of the word.

    “AR style rifle” why not just say “Rifle”?! Bc it’s one more grain of sand in their agenda to add weight to ban as many guns as possible to disarm the public just like Venezuela did. AR stands for ‘ArmaLite’ it’s a brand name it does not mean assault rifle -that term is made up to sound scary. They are just rifles. Anything can be used to assault someone else with -a car, a knife, a pointy stick, a book, hell, even these smartphones are heavy enough to be thrown as effective weapons!

  35. Why can't we make getting a gun as hard or harder than getting a driver's license? I'm not for banning guns but I am for controlling who can buy one. Just like a driver's license behind the wheel test there should be a safety test for guns. Just like a driver's license written test there should be at psych evaluation for gun purchases. I believe these steps would make a drastic difference.
