  1. HEY NBC WHY AREN'T YOU REPORTING ON THE MASSIVE INCREASE OF CRIME IN CITIES?
YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES! JUST LOOK AT WHAT'S HAPPENED LATELY IN CHICAGO.

  2. Lady kids won’t suffer from their graves. Kids and teachers should be vaccinated before returning to school. They have NOT had enough research yet for kids to be vaccinated. These stressed PARENTS are just sick of dealing with their kids and want to throw them into the covid fire.

  3. America you can’t have it all. If you wore masks, kids would have been back to school and y’all be at work. You just don’t listen and then go on the streets to protest.

  4. Nothing worse than having to deal with someones' tender little baby-heart feelings.
If America was more of a community the lack of a federal response would be a crime against humanity.
That's where this dissension is coming in, nothing was regulated as understanding how to contain it.

  5. Sounds like they value teachers, like they’re essential. Seems like a reason to pay teachers and give them safe working conditions.

  6. It's sad that the parents don't have any common sense or any brains to homeschool their children. They have been brainwashed by the system of dumbing down the child

  7. Yes, it's very unfortunate and inconvenient for the parents. This is a pandemic; you cannot force teachers to put themselves in harm's way in order to teach your children.

  8. Do people not realize that most of the country has been back to school since September, and transmission in schools is extremely low. Maybe we should move forward with school choice.

  9. As someon who works w/ kids, I can tell you those parents are just LAZY.
If I can take up 2-3 hours per week to teach your kid basic life skills, so can they. And I work with A LOT of kids (one on one 50 hours a week). No excuses!

  10. Kids on remote that are in special Ed are not learning anything that's even worse especially if they're going next year to Junior High they're going to be lost…….. And kids that are in regular class and they are remote they're not really learning especially if you're going so high school next year they're going to be lost to they're going to be confused what they're learning because of what they didn't learn in junior high when they get to high school they're going to be confused

  11. The parents could care less about the teachers. Then their kids grow up and they never look back. I’m no fan of the teachers union but also many people working from home just want their bratty kids out of the house. They would never accept working under those conditions themselves.

  12. Why would you want to send your children to an environment where there's a high probability of them getting the covid19? Why risk that? I'd rather keep my children safe at home. It's frustrating, yes, but they are alive and we can find other ways to learn at home.

  13. This is an irresponsible segment. Everyone wants schools to open – when it's safe! Please stop this childish bellyaching. The teachers didn't create this situation, please stop screaming at them to fix it. We reopen schools when it's safe, not when the Karen brigade screeches loud enough. The virus is real and we're in one of the most dangerous periods in the pandemic. Please stop demanding that people die so you can stop dealing with your insufferable brat.

  14. Lawdd jesus "Welp" us parents. Why don't "we" want our kids home? Mehnn I love my kid. I haven't worked since March. It's fun hanging out with this kid. I have taught him so much that I don't think schools would have. It's my responsibility last I checked.

  15. What a great idea to open school! Does anyone watch the news we have South African variant, the UK variant, and the mutation from California on top of the regular Covid-19. Sure open schools. Wonderful idea geniuses!

  16. I wish we can have kids in schools. I feel like many kids aren’t learning enough virtually. Plus many kids feel isolated.
