Both the mainstream news and Oprah have no credibility left. Breonna Taylor didn't deserve to die, and I'm sorry for her family. When the police barged through the door, Breonna's trigger happy boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, freaked out and shot a police officer in the leg. Then, all hell broke loose. I do agree that the police over reacted when they shot the heck out of the apartment. I think it was like 30 bullets or something. That was excessive. What were they supposed to do when they were fired upon first? They didn't know how many guns were in the apartment.
Why were the police at her apartment? They had a search warrant. She was associated with a known drug dealer. Investigators had photos of Taylor and Jarmarcus Glover driving up to a trap house. Glover was seen several times going into Breonna's apartment. He got mail at her house, and cars that he used to drive to the trap house were registered in her name. Breonna bailed Glover and his buddies out of jail several times. There were long phone conversations from the jail, and Glover said Breonna handled some of the money. In 2016, a dead body and drugs were found in a rental car that she let Glover use. Glover and Taylor weren't charged with murder, but it's suspicious as heck. Instead of blaming the police, why not blame the men she hung out with. No, it's the racist cops. If her boyfriend didn't shoot a cop in the leg, she probably would be alive today. And, after the dead body and drugs in the rental car, why on earth would she still stick with Glover. Being knee deep in drug activity is not going to end up very well.
