The COVID 19 vaccines do not stop people from being infected or from spreading the virus. The virus can also be spread by various species of animals to and from humans, unlike small pox and polio. The vaccine provides a chance for the virus to mutate within a vaccinated individual because the vaccine is only effective against specific know variants of the virus. Any mutated variants of the virus unaffected by the vaccine will reproduce unhindered in the vaccinated host. Unlike the Covid vaccine, natural antibodies would be effective against all variants of the virus present in the body, including mutations.
