  1. I’m shocked because we’ve only been hearing this since black Americans were granted the opportunity to buy one, however slim the selection was

  2. Thought when it came to money only green mattered. They make it so specific to one race issue. Though it's all about status, not always color

  3. WP get in their feelings on topics like this because it’s almost like they would have to literally admit their privilege and if you let them tell it – it doesn’t exist…lol

  4. I lived on the Southside of Milwaukee for one year. I moved there from Chicago in 2008. I was surprised that Milwaukee was just as segregated as Chicago if not more. People need to highlight that the majority ensure to keep Blacks in their place. And they say racism don't exist.

  5. I just don't know how companies don't get sued. If you have a good fico score and a history of paying bills on time, you should get a mortgage, regardless of what color you are!

  6. I am pretty sure that when a black family moves into a neighborhood, the residents all become very fearful of what might happen. If you don't know what I mean, just drive through a black neighborhood.

  7. Its all about the math and statistics. When a bank looks into giving out a loan in the statistics yes race is part of it. They compare which group pays off the loans, which group for what ever reason doesnt pay off the loan etc. Thats how banks make a decision on who gets a loan and who doesnt. Is it fair? Absolutely not however thats how the real world operates. Sadly if your black or brown you can have the greatest credit score but you will have to give more than just the 20% down if you want a bank to approve a loan.

  8. Where we live in Canada it's opposite it's like the white people all get pushed back and all the immigrants that we let come over take priority housing And we get pushed back to the bottom again and it happens all the time they also overuse our food banks And all of our services leaving barely anything to Canada But that's because Canada is soft and needs to stop being a 🐈 I love my country and I'm proud of them for finally standing up

  9. "Call on the Lord in the day of trouble,
    and he will deliver you."
            – Psalm 50 :15

  10. Maybe it's because I'm European, but it doesn't make sense to me. Mortgage companies and banks are corporations, they will sell their own grandmother's legs for a profit. But not lending to non whites is more important than profits?
