1. Just because you are attacked while being asian doesn’t mean it is a hate crime. Any race could claim that. If a black dude mugs a white guy and calls him cracker, is that a hate crime or is it just a crazy dude needing money for a hit? There is a rise in “asian hate crimes” because 1) people were quarantined last year, 2) the definition has expanded to mean whatever you want it to mean, and 3) the news media is bored and needs to invoke fear and hate in its audience.

45. I remember this started out as something called the “knockout game”. At the beginning it targeted most white males but quickly Asian women and seniors became the favorite target. Sadly today it seems this behavior is almost entirely against Asians and now involve weapons and other heinous actions.
