Dr. Katy Williams, 35, and her son, Finn, were at their home on a nature preserve in South Africa when the giraffe began trampling them, family members say.

Fake because it’s on abc news and giraffes are with animals that predators eat and there herbivores there around them and even with calf’s there ok with the prey of predators so a mouther giraffe would be ok if u come clause to its calf because it can see that our bodies aren’t designed like a predators and that giraffe that kicked the car wasn’t trying to attack thous people it was just very mad and there’s a video where a girl cames close to a giraffe very close and the giraffe was ok and the toddler would be killed even his mom

  11. Stupid mother. You study wildlife but decide to go up to a giraffe with her young. You put you and your child in that situation. Plus you're not even the owner so why would the giraffe trust you? Take her degree away, its common sense…

  13. Wow, this woman spends her life taking care of wild animals, and even she can't get a break from the tree hugging animal worshipping psychos.

    She didn't harm the animal in anyway whatsoever, and most of the comments are either full blame and condemnation, or an utter disregard for the life and health of her and her THREE YEAR OLD son altogether. This is why I couldn't care less about animal rights.

I pray the mom and baby will come out of this okay and with no significant health concerns. what pisses me off is that the mom and baby giraffe were separated and relocated and the baby giraffe did not make it, she died. So SAD. I dont understand why the mother went near the animals. Why do animals always end up being punished.. it was just a mom protecting her baby, now her baby is dead all bc a person decided to get too close

  29. I don’t know the story and if I am wrong I am sorry, but I can tell already. They saw the giraffe an it’s new offspring and got close to pet it, at that point the mother giraffe attacked both of them. WTF is wrong with white people and dangerous animals! They honestly think these animals are friendly towards us, THEY ARE NOT. SPECIALLY WHEN PROTECTING THEIR YOUNG!
