People do that all the time when they want you to answer the way they want to hear it. Not cool. Imagine someone asking you a question with an assumed fact..its not really a fact, it just sounds like one.

35. Who else would benefit from an investigation of Hunter Biden? The people of the U.S. and the Ukraine, when the deep corruption of Biden's influence peddling is ferreted out and exposed. These people would gain more from the investigation than Trump would, because the doddering old fool Joe Biden can't go more than a day without making some gaffe indicative of either a lack of native intelligence or the onset of dementia. He would never get elected President, and he's not a serious opponent to Trump. Trump would mop the floor with him on any debate stage. Bloomberg knows this. Deval Patrick knows this, and that's why they're getting into the race or thinking hard about it. There just isn't much political benefit to Trump in this, in terms of taking out Biden. If the Dems had any integrity, they would take down Biden themselves, especially after he bragged on video about extorting the Ukranians to fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma.

After the growing uproar from Obama administration spying on the Trump campaign, it would be hard for Trump to investigate Biden, so the reasoning goes, and that's one of the legs that's supporting the current impeachment scam. Obama told Biden, "You don't have to do this," with regard to Biden's running for President. Obama probably knew that it would end in embarrassment, and that keeping a low profile might have been a better defense. Biden's candidacy is a ruse intended to keep Trump from investigating Biden's oafish corruption. Obama is smarter than Biden, and he wasn't going anywhere near endorsing him.
