It’s Wednesday as we filmed this and today Lucky is getting released from the program he went into last Friday. He definitely looks like a brand new person coming out of this. But where does he go from here. And will he give himself the chance to stay clean. Or will go right back into the same lifestyle. I truly hope that is not the case.   2. hi Jo you might already know this but for old houses like that their is a special primer made for it its basically elmers glue kind of stuff that keeps the old paint from coming off

  3. The battle is never over…that monkey is always staring. I learned a valuable lesson from my old man fighting alcoholism. It's never over. All it takes is once, and then it's all down hill.

    Rooting for you Lucky! I hope today's job turned out well! Keep focused and stay strong! The internet doesn't cheer for a lot of people, but I feel like we all have your back now.

  4. Question I’m an addict as well homeless in ga. Been thinking about going to the hospital to get into detox but scared of how it works not having insurance can I smoke cigs in there have my phone I don’t have much clothes but can I bring those etc if anyone knows the answer to those questions please lmk

  5. I got faith in the dude, but i feel like he refused the suboxone so he can go use again.. suboxone is a blocker for opiates. Hope I’m wrong tho joe

  10. I. Hope lucky stays clean: we all deserve another chance at life and as long as he’s still breathing, it’s not too late. But he does need therapy. It’s his triggers are boredom and depression then he needs to fix that.

  14. Please understand that detox is one percent of the battle to come. Don’t feel like you’ve overcame anything besides trying to get back to somewhat logical thinking.

  16. I had to move across the country over 20 years ago to get away from it – not what Lucky is using but it was in the same circles. I still think of it from time to time still… I am weak. But I know what I need to do to continue another 20+ years.

  18. The purpose of the 12 steps is exactly what you're saying Justin. It isn't like asking others to forgive you. It's more like asking you to forgive yourself 😢 To move on clean and sober. There is a lot more to it than that. To be the best person you can be and to clean up your character in whatever ways that needs to be.

  20. I agree with Lucky regarding not getting another drug to facilitate freedom from your addiction. My girlfriend got off heroin and right on to anything that would sedate her. She died anyway. She might as well stayed on heroin.
