9. Many Miami buildings are in similar situation due to climate change and rising sea water and consequently rising underground water levels

10. When I was a kid the grown ups said Florida land cannot handle all this building because theirs not much space between the land and water. Sink holes

    On June 24, 2021, suddenly, the building in Miami, Florida collapsed, the disaster has shaken America, and the world when the death toll rose 18, and more than 151 unaccounted victims. It is incredible after the 12 story-apartment complex named Champlain Towers South Condo with 144 units, but 136 units crumbled. The causes are investigating while some officials, engineers plus local politicians have not conclude (thedawnmedia.com)

24. This never should have happened. Negligence on the part of the Board. A letter was received – they didn't pay too much attention to it. I understand many members quit because they saw nothing was being done. When there is water damage in a garage – that's a clue. The people who allowed this to happen – besides being sued – will have to live with the deaths of so many – thanks to them!!!
