I know the problem. There’s too much dry brush lying around. With all the people in California, you would think they could remove the dry brush.
Use thirsty cement as well with shade trees to reduce heat flooding and increase groundwater and air quality.

So while the concrete might be about 10 to 12 degrees cooler, those UV rays gotta so somewhere, and it's lookin' like it's in the air above the concrete.
Neat, it's like turning a steaming hot concrete skillet, into a microwave.
