   Revelation 2:5-6 says, “Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.”

   But we have not repented. We have shaken our fist defiantly at God and removed him from our public square and our laws of governance. We have killed innocent babies. We have proudly flaunted depraved sexual behavior, both homosexual and heterosexual. In our schools and in our homes, we have indoctrinated our children in the ways of Baal.

   When the deadliest plague in over a century came to our shores, we refused to repent. When the cries of those oppressed by racial injustice and hatred of heart could no longer be ignored, we refused to repent. It is time to awake from our slumber Christian friend. God is patient. God is gracious. God is merciful. But God is also just. Let us return to our first love and put our hope and trust in Him—and in Him alone. Let us repent as God’s people while there is still time. Let us repent as one nation under God

   Heavenly Father, I thank you that it is Your will for "all men to be saved and to come into the knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim 2:4). I also thank you that you are long suffering to us-ward not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance" ( 2 Peter 3:9). I bind and tie up Satan and all evil spirits in man (Put a name here if for specific individual) in the name of Jesus (Mt 16:19; Mt 12:29).

   I loose and untie Satan's blinders which have " blinded the minds of them which do not believe" and I command the light of the glorious gospel of Christ to shine into to them to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Cor 4:4,6; Isaiah 45:12). I thank You as I am praying with strong desire out of urgent need that you send forth laborers into Your harvest (Mt 9:38) to preach the gospel (Rom 10:13-15).

   I thank you that "the entrance of Your word gives light bringing understanding to those hearing the gospel (Psalm 119:130). I thank you that the Holy Spirit is convicting them "of the sin of not believing on Jesus as Lord and Savior" (John 16:19). I thank you for sending angels to continually minister to them and  bring laborers across their path continually until they receive Jesus as Lord and be born again. ( Mt 26:53; Heb 1:14) I thank you for the Salvation if the multitudes and the great harvest if souls that are being born again these last days, in Jesus name, Amen

9. With over 22 years of career firefighting I want to state that mental health is a huge issue in our service. The help is there but people will not seek it. It’s this old school macho mentality that has to go!!! We see in many instances just as much horrific things as combat American soldiers. This is going to continue until mental health is not frowned upon in our service. We are human too, and we see, feel pain and hear screams that you could not imagine.

    My father was a Fire Fighter for 22 years who died in the line of duty and I would never in a million years have guessed this kind of travesty could or would ever take place within the walls of a station house.
