retarded stuff huh
those things are like airplanes made for idiots to use
Poor little girl, staffs ang also her parents was too neglect , careless, this is common sense about care and safety.
Wait was she on their with her
Ride operators need to check the buckle of every riders.
As always in America, greed and negligence, low wage workers and insufficient training! And then trying to blame the parents? You have operators who cannot react to an alarm system and have no clue how to react to it? Oh my! I am not going on a ride like this again.
Why they hire incompetent workers?? Probably some dumb teenager that didn’t take the job seriously. So sad a beautiful little girl died so tragically because of them.

Omg that poor baby.
It appears to me besides negligence there should be a age limit. And height.
I rode that a few weeks before this happened. The theme of the ride makes thinking of what this was like… horrible
Really e l s p r o w e b. Pays much more than the benefit we have been receiving
stupid avoidable death. parents dont do this to your babies
No mention of the mother?
Just a sad situation
I have been to this park. It's a beautiful area but this is beyond tragic. This type of thing has been seen many times. This was an accident waiting to happen. There must be more safe guards in place. Although that is probably a mute point as I believe that this park is done. No one is going to want to insure them now. Sure, the operators made mistakes. They are being crucified but make no mistake- others were also very responsible. Those who chose to limit safety systems.
In the Engineering world, what was needed is referred to as redundancy. Not only is there a need for seat harnesses- not just belts, but they should not be able to over ride them. The harnesses should also be bright in color so you can clearly see if they are on. They should also have a light that illuminates on the buckle when they are locked- it's very simple tech.
In addition, there should have also been full, rigid and thickly padded safety bar/harnesses that pulls down over the entire front of the person- like you see on roller coasters. These secure using both a ratchet mechanism and seatbelt. This entire ride is zero G.
Further, there should also have been one long bar safety bar that covers everyone that sits on top of their legs. ALL (3) three systems must be engaged successfully (locked) before the ride can operate. Pressure switches in the seat should 100% STOP the ride if any link in that chain is not engaged. These restraints are fairly standard on most rides of this type.
It is dumbfounding that these systems were not part of the "purchased" design. I am quite sure they were offered as add-on options. I have no doubt that the decision was made to save a few bucks- beyond foolish. Management likely also considered the ongoing maintenance costs of such systems. I speculate that they may well have planned to add them later once more revenue came in to pay for them. These small parks have many expenses and they are not usually flush with cash. Initially they can operate in the red.
Let me be clear. You should NEVER, ever leave safety up to one person who might be distracted, tired or having a bad day. We've seen this multiple times with train operators that navigate turns too fast because they are on their cell phones. It's 2021- nearly everything else is automated. Quality safety system technology is here but costs are often a deterrent. It needs to be required. This was 100% tragic and 100% avoidable. R.I.P.

I saw a report with a woman who WAS properly strapped in and she said it felt like she was going to come out of the seat anyway. Of course a little girl was going to come out of it. The park is about to be sued into bankruptcy.
That ride should never be allowed to operate again!!!!
So sad to see that such incidents branded in "s**t hole" countries are now a daily thing in US, murders, buildings collapsing and now this… RIP innocent Soul

What’s also so sad is that the family should not have to think about suing. The company should offer them money for such a tragedy. Be compassionate and empathetic. They lost their little girl!!! Try to make their life easier not harder. â¤ï¸ÂRIP angel!!! Please visit your parents in their dreams 💕
These buckles supposed to be connected with a warning alarm shows the belts are not buckled in like in a car + monitoring cameras ( safety must be a top priority be all means ! ) … !
Parent should be criminal charged!

What is a 6 year old doing in that kind of ride ???
It is definitely the company/designer’s fault as who would use that type of seatbelt for a ride that goes up and down, other rides that go up and down have a shoulder strap for a reason.
Why would anyone let a 6yr old get on a ride like this and without a family member beside her?? If so they could have made sure this child was safely strapped!! ðŸ™ÂðŸ™Â
Put them all in prison for a couple of years. Thats justice
Imagine being the workers there and going home knowing you let a little girl die
If the monitor alerted to a safety issue, then WHY did the ride start? It stands to reason that if there are any warnings present, the ride should not be able to dispatch. I don't understand that.
