  27. If you've made it this far I hope you don't mind me sharing an update: their father died in 2018, the brother they feel helped conceal Susan's Murder committed suicide in 2013. Half their entire family is now dead…creepy but rightfully so.

    Josh moved in with his Dad, Joshs sister tried to get Josh to confess wearing a wire, it was unsuccessful. Josh agreed to chat to a reporter, and Joshs Dad also spoke, he was really creepy and was infacuated with Susan. He even hit on her in the car and recorded it. Talks about Susans journals. police searched Josh's Dads house for these journals as they could help them with the case, found child porn on his Dads computer and lots of voyuer videos produced by Joshs Dad, including videos of him putting Susans used underwear all over his face, even trying to see her nude with mirrors. Also videos of neighborhood children, videos of the neighbor kids in the bath viewed from his window. Police arrested Joshs Dad and he was sentenced to prison for 5 years for one count of child porn.. After this, the state took custody of the children as they were not safe living in Joshs Dads house. The grandparents, Susans parents were fostering the children for the state. At first Josh was only allowed supervised visits at a third party location. Once Josh moved to his own house, they allowed supervised visits there. Josh then went to court again to try and get his kids back, police showed incest cartoon porn found on Joshs computer from the previous home search. The judge denied Josh his kids back, but he was still allowed supervised visits at his home. A few days later when the kids come over to visit Josh, Josh shut the door on the supervisors face, locking her out, the boys had laceration marks on their necks from an axe, he poured gasoline on the boys and lit them on fire, then he blew his house up. All three died, Josh placed several calls before this happend to family saying good bye, this all happened on the day of the Super bowl. Josh had purchased the gasolie in advance and obviously had this all planned. Said he could not live without his kids, the state wanted him to undergo a sexual evaluation to see what aroused him, and if children were ok in his possession, thsi included a mandatory lie detector test, which Josh has always forbid to take…….. Susans parents sued the state saysing they were more worried about protecting Joshs visitation than protecting the kids, where if these visits were at a 3rd party location this would never of happend and was awarded 32 million. The Jury awarded them 57 million 500 thousand for each child, the Judge reduced it to 32 million. Susans parents are appealing this descision. Hopefully i didnt miss too much, but this is the gist of it. Susan is still missing as well

  34. Josh Powell was a narcissistic (and with no reason, he was an unremarkable nobody) creep who was obviously coddled and enabled by his pervert father. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he only pursued and married Susan because of his father's weird obsession. Why is there nothing from his mom? There should have been no way that his visits were allowed in his home. Supervised visits in a neutral third-party place is normal and for the protection of the children and workers. They'll never find her body and her babies suffered a painful death. This is so sad. I can't imagine how her parents have endured this.
