16. This is how we've been doing it in the UK for decades. Sometimes police accompany Social Workers if there is criminal activity – but it's the Social Worker's responsibility to deal with mental health issues!

21. This is extremely laudable and I hope it works out but who wants to bet after one or two of these people get shot or stabbed, that Denver goes back to business as usual 🤔

22. They need this, instead of saying they only have lethal force. Bout time.

24. Give it time and these medics will be hurt or killed. I dont care what anyone says on a mental health situation you need a police officer. Trust me there is a chance it can go bad quick.

30. They have this in prince George’s county Maryland called the Mobil crisis team. They usually call for police help.

31. I hope they at least wear bulletproof vests. Anyway, i don’t fully think it is a great idea, but i guess it’s worth a try. This maybe a great case study.
