  1. If I ran GoFundMe, from a business perspective it just seems like a huge liability with all these scams. I recently saw a job posting they had for a computer sys admin role about a $100k/year salary type job and I'm asking myself how do they even make enough revenue off "tip" wages per fund to keep their lights on? Then you have fraud scams like this that completely screw you and your users over.

  2. A single mother set up a GoFundMe account for their child who was dying of cancer and got a total of$ 500.00. She was so happy and so thankful for that. I just wanted to throw that out there for anybody who is wanting to donate money to a good cause.

  3. I knew this was fake when it first came out (and this isn’t a dig towards the homeless man at all, they made an offer he literally couldn’t refuse, he’s homeless and desperate for money) but he’s homeless and a drug user…he wasn’t giving away his last $20. I could maybe believe like $5 just enough to get her home but I knew it was BS from the start.

  4. She was stupid enough to send a message to a friend right after the GoFundMe went live telling her it was all a lie. Can you imagine being dumb enough to commit such a successful crime and not ten minutes after tell the truth to a friend? Via mobile phone? Dumb girl 😂

  5. As soon as you see GoFundMe and the people are located in Canada, should be a red flag right away. Canada is like a breeding ground for scammers.

  6. Money given with all your heart is never lost eventhough the person you give the money to is a fraudster..be may the story true or not in either cases the donor get his recompense for his good deeds..

  7. it's people like this that keep people vetted from helping others because of schemes or other sorts of plans from the people receiving from you to do things that you expected not to do with what you give… It's f'd up but it's some srewed people out there in the same

  8. What the I thought this was a good inspiration story but it was all a scam or for money 😪😢

  9. Beware people.  There will be more scams to come.  From now on when we hear about a sad story, wait about 2 weeks first before getting emotional and feeling sorry.  After 2 weeks and the story stays the same then its believable, but if even one word changes then you know its bullshit.  So far we keep getting bullshit.

  10. This is sad we're about to be homeless and we started a go fund me account and didn't get a dime. I have a 6 month old baby and lI've right here in Crestview Florida and can't get help from anybody. My Mom said she's not worried about her and my dad being homeless she just doesn't want us to be homeless especially my little one.I hope and pray someone reads my story and shares it maybe we'll get the help that we really need. At least I'm telling the truth and not lying about it like they were.
