  1. As a high school basketball player & now a high school Senior girls basketball coach, I cannot even believe this ruling. Just thinking about her loss in scholarships & her development & experience as an athlete at such a crucial time is heartbreaking & wrong. We support you from Canada!

  2. So the state of Alabama knew their top star was going to play for a national team whose policy is to send stipend checks and DID NOT NOTIFY this girl that if she took the money she would be DQed from playing the next year.  This sounds like a potential lawsuit.

  3. Some persons achieve superiority in a field through hard work. Other people achieve superiority (or a feeling of it) through searching out information regarding minor alleged infractions and using it as a club to destroy the former.

  4. They drilled that into us. You can't accept money for playing a sport in high school. TV shows like All American have episodes dedicated to the act and they knew this but now play ignorant. They even said they asked if she could accept the check. That right there tells all.

  5. blacks are only 13 percent of america and like this show tooo many blacks are gaining for no reason . except they are black . i say shut them alll down

  6. I wonder if she had blonde hair and blue eyes if this would be happening. And if they are punishing her then the people who sent her a check should be punished also.

  7. This was done on purpose! There are some people walking this earth is truly the seed of satan. They know what she is capable of in life and attempting to prevent greatness. Hopefully her parents will take it to court immediately to get this reverse.

  8. What’s the “Pandora’s box” that can’t be opened? Rightfully correcting a mistake made by the US and adults that have nothing to do with the kid?…😳

  9. I like the fact that her parents aren't the ones to blame. They were giving packets of information about all the rules and who to call if something that don't understand occurs. Typical shirking of one's responsibility is why she should remain punished.
