10. These stories keep talking about price at the pumps only.. Most people don't realize that oil has a lot more to do with inflation than just gas prices. Thousands of products are either petroleum based or use petroleum based products like fertilizer, paints, chemicals, tools, plastics or solvents in the production.. The global markets ship components to one place that ship parts to another place to warehouses and now must of it direct to homes. The computers, networks and iphones that communicate all this are made of oil. Heating and cooling along the way need oil. Even green energy equipment need petroleum based products. It takes 7 barrels of oil to make the plastic in one Tesla. Transportation is like another tax on top of another tax on top of another tax. Its not Covid. Its not Trump and its not Russia. Its Biden. He don't get it.. Never did.. Never will.
