  1. Sorry to hear. But these guys were on the downward before Covid. By their per meal price increases which exceeded the rate of inflation they pushed away a double digit segment of their clientele over to the "fast food"/mega chain joints. AND now these same joints are going the same way. $60 to feed the nuclear family at McDonalds! Four bucks for an order of onion rings at Jack in the Box! C'mon! Americans are pretty money clueless as a group, but even they are trending away from high dollar/low value restaurant offerings.

  2. Getting me back in a restaurant is going to a hard sell. It's not safe and I've gotten used to saving money cooking at home. Not to mention cutting my own hair, walking instead of taking the bus, in general entertaining myself at home. I'm used to saving money and living more simply and that's not going to change with a vaccine

  3. We should have stopped the virus at the onset instead of ignoring it and hoping it was only fifteen people coming from China and they will magically disappear in a few days…somehow…. Putiing the head in the sand and telling the public a big fat lie wasn't a smart strategy… You know what to do when time to vote.

  4. I hope and pray that we will find a way to get back to normal in some ways some way shape or form will it be a new or the old I don't know I'm just kind of scared and nervous but I'm just going to hold on with my face when I believe but this coronavirus is just hack it to bits full of b***** crap and I mean everybody is having a good time when you get a drink or you don't belly up to the bar or cold snow going to be in to the booth with their you know the love of their life and everything you know and we can't even do that anymore you know or go to the beach and sit down and get a tan you know and enjoy that you know that time in that space it is just excuse my French but it's so f**** sad and then the restaurants have to close up and lay off all of their employees well this is how the restaurant employees make their living this is how they pay their bills you know they get their tips and they rely on this you know and it's not fair all because of some a**** just decides to put this virus in the air to do it on purpose just to throw a monkey wrench into the works and just record for everybody I hope this thing dies I hope someone catches this a**** and I hope someone finds a cure so that we can live because I want to see my daughter grow up and become the woman she needs to be and I want to grow old with my wife down the road you know cuz I don't have time for me to go it's time for me to go naturally not buy some damn coronavirus forgive me everyone God bless yourself your hearts and your so's America the world and mother Earth😨🙏👪😷❤❤❤🇺🇸🐠🐟🐳🐬

  5. I often hear the term social distance because of the coronavirus.
I want to tell you about keeping this physical distance.
I have had the experience of riding a wheelchair and walking with a stick. Wheelchairs look at the world from the perspective of an adult suddenly becoming a child.
    Everything changes with just that.
There are few stores that are easy to move in a wheelchair, where there is a place to put a stick, and where such a thing is considered. The fact that more shops can be taken out can be very helpful to some people if they can't get in.
Ask what people who have small children feel scared when walking!

  6. I can’t fathom the idea of actually wanting to go sit down in a restaurant right now. I’m sorry but I’ll choose some home cooked meals and saving my money instead of risking mine and others health, selfish fucks. It’s common sense.

  7. Restaurants need to simply do food trucks and give up on the notion that the public should be in close proximity to make $.

  8. North Florida here, we ate out this past weekend at a sit down steak restaurant and it was awesome. Be safe and make it work. It's depressing listening to these news stories cause sometimes it feels like the stories just want small businesses to fail.

  9. My husband and I didn't eat out much before because it was so expensive to begin with.😏
My husbands and I will now have date nights walking in the metro parks, riding our bikes or kayaking.

  10. No matter how safe many these restaurants try to be, anything that's coughed or sneezed into the air will circulate in the restaurant air and into the AC unit/Air Filters. With the air circulating forcefully in these restaurants, do you want to be there to catch something blowing around in the air. Do you want to be sitting underneath a AC vent with a virus circulating. Even if they put up partitions, it will not stop the air from circulating all around with the airflow in that restaurant. Many people will just choose to skip the places.

  11. Only time I eat out is when traveling for work and occasionally when I forget to take my lunch to the office. All other times I cook and eat at home. No place is more safer than eating at home! I actually use the kitchen in my house with a well stocked pantry and food in my refrigerator to cook. To be honest, i don't frequent many restaurants in my own city. I spend money buying food and i feel guilty when think of going out to eat when I have food i can cook in my refrigerator at home. I take some pride in making my own food and for others. But I feel for the restaurants and the people that have to frequent them or can't these days. I don't care to eat out and I just feel safer always eating at home when I can.

  12. Had a friend who pooped in the same restaurant every night. Never bought a thing – just pooped there. They started giving him dirty looks. This outraged him as he claimed loudly he had a right to poop there.
