Too proud to admit Trump was doing it right so he'll allow the border cities to suffer and pay for his pride. Him and Joe should have to live a mile out of the border so they know what they are doing to people.

3. I'm glad that the US cares about people and wants to help them but it shouldn't be at the expense of existing citizens. We have homeless. We have orphans. We have people that go hungry. We can't help everyone. Can we not work with South American countries to try and put these illegal immigrants with safety concerns into the protection and care of their respective countries? Of course, we shouldn't send kids into the desert by themselves but is that really the only option for them?

4. Why is a border wall so offensive to people? It's what border agents want (the ones that deal with the issue). The wall is not only extremely tall but it extends underground several feet. There are cameras and motion sensors. No one will ever convince me that it would not work. Something like that across the whole border would probably eliminate 90% of illegal immigration. Of course, cartels will have their tunnels and smuggling but that's not how 90% of people are crossing the border. We need to finish that wall. Just because someone can break a window to get into your house doesn't mean you should just leave your front door open. I am all for legal immigration – we need to look at that process and try to improve it to allow good people that want to do it legally to enter the country.
