Eat dead animals and get sick . So obvious . Est veg and live .
IF THE VIRUS SO SERIOUS WHY ARE WE SEEING PEOPLE RACE TO THE HOSPITALS IN THE MASSES THE NEWS ARE THE INTERNET IS NOT SHOWING THAT WHICH IS KIND OF WEIRD AND DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE OR MAYBE IM JUST USING MY BRAIN TO THINK FOR MYSELF
The high concentration of animals in small enclosed areas increases the possibility that an isolated incident of disease will amount to a widespread outbreak, affecting a greater number of animals in one facility. In previous decades, when meat producers were locally owned and operated, and livestock were allowed larger areas to occupy, one sick animal could be easily separated, thus preventing any further spread of disease. However, in the cramped conditions of modern industrial farming, the exposure of an entire herd is inevitable, and much more difficult to contain.
The new coronavirus pandemic which has traversed the globe to infect millions people, was most likely a result of intensive factory farming of animals .
If i were here i would find another job no one needs meat to live
The rise of infectious diseases from eating Pork from factory farmed pigs is clear and obvious. This is where new and emerging diseases come from that the human population has never seen before.
So glad to see these horrific places being shutdown. You deserve to lose your jobs. Lol
Open the Country NOW! if you don't feel safe and thing you're the .02% at risk, stay home in you basement…. but the rest of us want our FREEDOM!
This will definately lower colon cancer!
Good for you. Your life comes first
If you actually want to create global pandemics, then build factory farms. Factory farming is a perfect storm environment for infectious diseases. Our mass raising and slaughtering of animals for food in these factory farms could be the Genesis of the next big global pandemic.
It's nice to know that they are trying to keep their worker's safe.
17$ for 10 years 😒
Can someone please tell why we are raising Pigs in factory farms where the conditions are horrible and the space so cramped that we have to send out teams of scientists in the hope of avoiding disaster? As always, it’s one or all of the following reasons: habit, taste and convenience.
Tyson owns Smithfield
Smithfield is owned by the Chinese. Shut it all down, permanently!!!
I don’t even eat pork.
This is the issue with Don’s rush to “get America working†philosophy without preparation: nobody will buy Smithfield anyway. Economy will return when consumers feel safe/confident
Time 2 fast
People get sick. It is unavoidable. How many workers died here? How many people are asymptomatic? This cannot be the new normal.
So how many of those 600 cases actually passed away? I wonder when ABC is going to acknowledge the fact that the majority of people are asymptomatic? 600 cases in a country of 330 million.
bone in is great for making a broth or stew.
I left a vegan meat alternatives factory when they were breaking the groups of six or fewer recommendation.
Now one or more have tested positive (a supervisor) and I most likely don't qualify for unemployment.
However, I erred on the side of safety and I'm glad I did!
I still think it is still too early to open the US this virus ain’t contained well. If we open up again it’s just spreading this virus even more…
Shame for the the former employee had to quit her job for her safety. And with our broken healthcare system now she'll won't have healthcare in the middle of a pandemic…! 😬
Our lack of preparedness and our sad unorganized current administration isn't helping either
Donnie doesn't want testing!
Being a essential worker is a potential death sentence.
Smithfield don't care about their workers just like the majority of companies in the US.
I only watch mainstream media to see what the new lies are…
