A Florida appeals court has ruled that police officers who use deadly force can hide their identities using a law that was designed to protect crime victims. The court ruled that under Marsy’s law, police officers who are confronted with deadly force are considered crime victims and can withhold their names from public records.

This is basically a loophole for corrupt cops to continue business as usual. They will use any excuse to claim deadly force. For example, the suspect balled up his fist, had a cell phone in hand, and turned the vehicle incorrectly.
Not surprised coming from the Nazi state of FloriDUH. I'll never go there again, as I'm apparently not missing anything anyway. California is always getting a bad rap, but utopian in comparison to Florida. It will be under water in 100 years, so who really cares.
All this tells me is, when I interact with a cop, pull out cell phone n record. Record everything. Having said that, comply, comply, comply!!
So when they walk up to a car with a gun drawn, or storm into a house with guns drawn, they're the victims.

Are we surprised that cops want to hide their identity’s. They don’t have the spine to stand up an acknowledge what they’ve done. This gives white supremacists an easy way to hide with support from their white supremacist cohorts. Why should we trust internal affairs and prosecutors of all people to tell us when a cop did something wrong? Especially considering how often we see those exact people covering up police executions!!

I have an ideal, keep an eye on the news as it really happens and have your staff do their home work on real cops. You won't have to report on the laws passed to cover cops you'll have real fact base on what just happened.
