24. As a Finn I must say that Russia's claim of a "threat" when Finland joins NATO is purely that they'll find it impossible to invade our country anymore, even if they'd certainly wish to do so.. They know it very well that NATO has never attacked anyone. There's only one attacker in the European soil, and like our president said, they should look in the mirror. No one in the civilized world has any intentions to enter their legally owned ground. Which doesn't include any areas of Ukraine! Slava Ukraini!

35. I am very glad that Finland finally came to realize it will be much more beneficial to join NATO at the earliest time rather than kept waiting and worrying about how Russia might react. There is nothing to be afraid of Putin or his incompetent military forces. Just imagine how well Ukrainian soldiers are keeping pace to defeat incompetent Russian forces and very soon, they will all be crushed or will be pushed out of Ukraine in the future.

36. Russia invaded Finland in 1939 and Finland had to give up 11 percent of its territory, largely because Finland was isolated and had very little help from the outside world. Now that Russia again feels entitled to invade its neighbors, it only makes sense for Finland to join NATO.
