  4. Lol the thing is they are trying to make people wear masks even though your not sick with covid-19 and that is why so many people are just making the masks the way they are with filters or layers even crocheting masks with filters

  6. I’ve been making homemade masks and selling them for only $5 since the beginning of the pandemic. My business is called The Lavender a Sprig! I love giving them to people and watching their faces light up with excitement. I’ve actually donated multiple masks to my neighbor’s hospital she works as a nurse for! He main reason I made my business is because of two reasons; the infamous mask shortage in April, and the fact that I can’t stand when others are forced to spend copious amounts of money on disposable masks that ruin our environment. So, I created my own patterns of masks, I have 4 currently, for kids, teens, women, and men! I am 17 and thanks to the love and support of my little project, I am saving up for a new car (A beetle)! I love my job and it’s giving me a great start at making a REAL business one day (I wanna open a cafe)! I can’t wait to see my business spread and hopefully I will open up an online shop that sends my wonderfilled creations across the world! Wish me luck on my journey!✨🌿❤️

  13. Fashion renders masks useless. One made out of pearls. Others out of lace. No standards. Sippy masks that will allow your sneeze debris out. Those who claim to be taking these seriously are not. Water resistant? Won't be able to breathe through them. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Leather? Look to pass out or get dizzy in a short period of time. Leather. Really. SMH

  19. I applaud their creativity but putting holes in the portion of the masks that directly covers your nose and mouth is a major flaw. The plastic ones are fine if the mask underneath is breathable . So long as the wearer can breath around the plastic covering, i.e the plastic covering isn't skin tight. On the other hand plastic and high temps do not mix well, so that's a no from me. Also is spandex a good idea when it comes to masks? Doesn't stretching the fabric Make the little holes bigger? Better not have a pronounced jaw line.

  24. Leather is not functional. People with for example COPD or even not and healthy look leather is not breathable or practical or safe

  26. Why the hell would you wear a lace mask w/ zero protection. Being uncomfortable for no reason. Masks are horrendous and I am hopeful for a time when they are not necessary for daily life.

  29. A mask without filters is useless tho, I found an N95 filter on a site breathsafe co uk. If you make your own cloth one, you could stick it in.

  33. Masks will become part of our everyday lives for a generation or longer. Also considering facial recognition software, a lot of people are going to wear masks due to deep state conspiracy theories and the like.
